A constellation is a group of stars that form a recognizable pattern or shape in the night sky as seen from Earth. These patterns are often named after animals, mythological figures, or objects, such as Ursa Major (the Great Bear) or Orion (the Hunter). It is not a single star, a group of planets, or a galaxy.
